G.C. WIENERBERG KIDS TRAINING – NEW FOR 2022!

Exclusively for Golf Club Wienerberg member kids, we have golf training starting on Saturday 23^rd of April this year, the weekend after Easter, and every Saturday until the 22^nd of October. (If non-members are interested, a golf membership is free for U14 kids).

A sign-up sheet for the training will be at the club reception. One can only register for training within the week before each Saturday.

We have planned for 2 groups, kids aged 8-12 and kids aged 12-16.

Saturday training is from 10:30-12:00 and costs €10 each time, to pay on the day.

The kids will work through a program of improving their golf skills, techniques and learning about the game, which should take up to 3 months.

Once the program is successfully completed, the kids will be out of the training program and onto the golf course, having earned the right to play, with our supervision at first, to gain experience.

This will be on Sunday afternoons during the year from April 24^th to October 30^th.

Again, one must register for the round (at the reception) within the week before each Sunday and cost €10, to pay on the day.

Note: Because of booking the tee times, we need to have names registered by lunch time on Saturday at the latest!

With experience gained by playing, the kids should be able to achieve an official handicap, when ready, by playing a ‘HRE’ (Handicap Relevant Ergebnis) round.

On the first Sunday of each month in the afternoon (May to Nov), there will be an official 9-hole competition, a chance to gain experience or register for a ‘HRE’ round.
